B2B Sales / Business Development Specialist--

A Sales / Business Development Specialist will be responsible for seeking and obtaining production service work orders from entertainment companies and developers, “pitching” our services to the production companies

To be considered for this position, you must be well-organized, analytical, and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, (Bilingual English / Japanese, including Eiken Level 2, or JLPT Level 2 or equivalent).

Assistant Producer--

An assistant to our producers gains invaluable hands-on experience with a wide range of intellectual properties imported to and from Japan. This is a full-time position and you must be able to commute to Torrance, California.

To be considered for this position, you must be well-organized, analytical, and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, (Bilingual English / Japanese, including Eiken Level 2, or JLPT Level 2 or equivalent).

Freelance Translator--

Translators interested in expanding their portfolios are invited to work with out producers as well as our localization editors on a variety of projects. Both E-->J and J-->E projects include manga, scripts, notes, and business materials. These projects offer competitive compensation and are contract only.

To be considered for this position, you must have your own computer and workspace, including software capable of generating an RTF file, as well as access to FedEx, UPS, or USPS, as materials are exhcanged via courier. Students and translators without previous experience can be considered if they submit acceptable translation samples.

Internships--

Students of Japanese or English language who are interested in working with our producers for credit can contact us about seasonal opportunities for one or two terms. The duties in our internships range from local office assistant to special events and production staff support. Please contact us for more information.

To be considered for this position, you must be a native English speaker, studying in Japanese OR a native Japanese speaker studying English, and able to receive academic credit.  Admission & travel to/from special events is covered for unpaid Interns.
